Only in Derby for a couple of hours due to the tide, the community gave us a huge welcome.
In honour of our visit, Derby Shire President, Elsie, presented Sarah with a Derby plaque for the Windeward Bound and in exchange, Sarah presented Derby with a plaque of the Windeward Bound.

Jack celebrated his birthday a few days early, Windeward Bound style of course!

Joining the Windeward Bound as voyage crew from Derby to Broome are the Broome Rangers Tyson, Chris, Matthew and Lenore.






Voyage crew member, Nikki Coleman, a Uniting Church minister, conducts a Sunday service on the aft deck for the crew of the Windeward Bound.


Anchored off Point Torment on the way to Derby, a few crew members took to the zodiac to see if they could figure out why the place earned it's name.
